The new study is one of the few head-to-head comparisons of various treatments for neck pain, a problem that affects about 70% of us somet time in tour lives. Research, found that chiropractic care or were better at reducing pain than taking medications like aspirin, ibuprofen or narcotics.There have been other studies locally here in Minnesota at Northwestern health sciences University by Dr. Gert Bronfort. He took two groups that were experiencing neck pain asked on group to engage in Chiropractic treatment of 15 visits over three meonths while the second group took pain relievers ranging from ibuprofin and sometimes stronger under the are of their physician. The results were astounding as 57% of those utilizing chiropractic care had an average reduction in pain.
